Trip to Greece

We were thankful to be able to go to Greece at the end of July for a conference with all of our colleagues from across Europe.  It was a great time of worship, learning, fellowship, and renewing for all of us.  My family decided to stay for 4 extra days of vacation while we were there to enjoy the hot sunshine, swimming pool, and sea!  We had a blast and wanted to share some pictures with you.

Ella's Pre-Birthday Party!

Ella just had her birthday in Moscow last week. However, she wanted to celebrate in America with family and friends as well.  She decided to celebrate at Chuck E. Cheese.  She had lots of fun.

July 4th - Kellan's Birthday!

Kellan was able to celebrate his birthday in America with family this year!  Here are some pictures of his party.

 Lots of presents!
 Ben, Ella, and Kellan
We can't believe he is already 12 years old.
 Dirt Cake!!!  Our favorite!
 Sister love.
 Present Time!
 Just what he wanted!

Moving Apartments

Deana moved us (with some help) to a new apartment on June 2nd.  I happened to be in America at a wedding during this time, so she handled all this alone.  (Boy was I lucky!)  We now live near Moscow State University and the across the road from the circus.  We like our new place and are enjoying exploring what is around.  We were not all here together until Saturday, July 29th.

Everything is in and ready to be organized!

Everything is in place!  The sad thing is we have no furniture!
 Kitchen
 Our bedroom
 Kellan's room
Finally, when I returned from America we headed to IKEA and purchased what we needed for the apartment.
We like our big room because we can fit lots of guests at one time.
We are already enjoying lots of company!
Pray that God would use our home as a place where people will learn and know more about Him.

The Kids Around the Kremlin

Some good pictures of the kids in May when we walked around the Kremlin when my parents were visiting!

Baby Shower Outreach Event

Back in May, Deana hosted a baby shower for Ani.  Ani is Greesha's wife.  Many of you have prayed for him and his family the whole time we have been in Moscow.  Many people from our church came to support them.  They had been attending church with us every week until the end of May.  At that time his job changed and they are no longer able to attend.  Please pray that they would come to know the Lord as their personal Savior and Lord.  Pray that they would have the opportunity to attend church with us again.  Pray for our continued fellowship with them.

Some of the ladies who helped with decorations!
       The table is ready!
         This is Ani!

                                          Lots of fellowship!
           And fun!
           And, of course Bible Study!

Greesha and Ani's daughter was born in June.  Her name is Susanna.  We have seen her one time.  They asked me to go into her room and pray for her.  That was a very unexpected blessing!  Thanks for continuing to pray for them.
