English Club Thanksgiving Party

We had a Thanksgiving Party with our English Club Students.  It was a great night full of fun, food, fellowship, and learning.  The most important thing was that every person there was able to hear a clear presentation of the Gospel!  We LOVE our English Club Students and are praying that they come to know Christ.

Small Group at the Dacha

This is one of my small groups that meets on Monday nights.  The leaders of this group invited us out to their dacha to spend a Saturday together!  We enjoyed lots of fellowship, great food, and a Bible lesson together!

Please pray for those in this small group - From left to right we have:
Volodia and Sveta (group leaders), Vitaly, Kevin (IMB colleague), Tamara, Leslie (IMB colleague), Valentina, and Lena.

A Walk to the Overlook!

We love to go on walks around Moscow.  One of my favorite places to walk to and pray is the overlook near Moscow State University.  It is about a 20 minute walk from our apartment and it is a place where you can look out over the city!  Here are some pictures from our walk with Ella!

You can see the new, modern "Moscow City" shaping up on the left!

No Front Teeth

Ella has no front teeth.  She is not a fan of pulling them out, but LOVES for the tooth fairy to come!

Moscow City

We were invited over to some friends for dinner and games and these were some pictures that we took from nearby their apartment  building.  This is the part of Moscow that we call Moscow City.  This is the new, modern skyscraper part of town.  Buildings are going up quickly and bringing a much different look to Moscow than in the past.  Many middle-aged and older Muscovites do not like the look of these buildings and they think that it is changing the view of Moscow as a whole.  Please continue to pray for this great city and pray specifically that just as we see changes and growth throughout the city in business, economics, infrastructure, modernization, that we will also see and experience growth in the spiritual aspect as well.  God is working in lives here.  May a revival of the Holy Spirit rain down on this place!

Ella Says Goodbye

This is Ella's friend, Gloria!  Ella had to say goodbye to Gloria as her family moved to Canada.  Ella will greatly miss her at school because now she will be the only girl in the class!  Pray for Gloria's family as they minister to people in Canada!
