End Of Year English Club Picnic

It has become tradition to end our English Club Year with a picnic at Park Kolomenskoe here in Moscow.  This year, we had a great time for the first little bit:

 We started with the games, but you can see the clouds coming!

 AND, the hardest rain I have ever seen began and we had to run for cover!!!!

 We waited until the rain let up just a little and made a run for our cars and the metro!

JUNE - Fun At the Lake With Aunt Sherri

Kellan and Ella had a special time with Aunt Sherri this summer when they visited Lake James together.  They LOVED everything about it.  Thanks Aunt Sherri for helping make special memories.  

The Last Bell

Our Russian "daugher", Luba, invited us to the celebration that happens in almost all Russian schools, The Last Bell.  She graduated this year and her parents were unable to attend, so we went in their place.  We had lots of fun experiencing this tradition for the first time.  Here are a few pictures:

Deana in Germany

In May, Deana was able to travel to Germany for a ladies' conference.  She enjoyed her time there.  Here are just a few pictures of the things she saw along the way.

Justin Bieber Comes to Moscow

Ella was very excited after we returned from our time in the states to see the posters about the concert coming soon at the end of April.  Here are a few pictures of the evening she had out with her mom to McDonald's and the Justin Bieber concert.  

 She begged for tickets and we kept it a surprise for quite a while.

Trip to Antalya, Turkey

Towards the end of March, we were able to go to Antalya, Turkey for a meeting and a few days in the sunshine and warmer temperatures!  I remember the first time that we bought tickets to go to Istanbul, Turkey and how I was not very excited at the thought of traveling there.  However, I have to say, that I LOVE Turkey.  It is a beautiful country and has lots of rich history and natural beauty to enjoy!  Here are a few pictures from our trip.  

TRIP TO DISNEY

We were so blessed to be able to go to Disney World for a week in February with Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Sherri.  We had lots of fun together and made lots of memories.  Here are just a few of the hundreds of pictures taken while we were there!  The kids had a BLAST!!!
